Prof. Valeria Reginatto Spiller, PhD

Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry - Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC, Master's degree in Food Science at the Faculty of Food Engineering of the State University of Campinas - UNICAMP (1992), PhD in Sciences - Institute of Chemistry of UNICAMP (1998) with sandwich period at the Institute of Water Quality / University of Hannover - Germany. After her PhD she worked at UFSC in the Departments of Chemical Engineering and Food Engineering and in the Department of Food Science and Technology, as a researcher PROFIX and pos doc. Since 2009 he has been a PhD Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), Faculty of Philosophy Sciences and Letters of Ribeirão Preto, Department of Chemistry. Has experience in biotechnology applied to the biological treatment of effluents and agro-industrial waste, with emphasis on the production of bioenergy and biofuels, especially hydrogen.

Lab Technician

Graduated in Chemistry (Bachelor) from the University of São Paulo (1995), Master of Science - Concentration Area in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (1998) and PhD in Sciences - Concentration Area in Chemistry from the University of São Paulo (2003) ). Has experience in Organic Synthesis of compounds with conjugated unsaturation, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, involving gene cloning, gene expression, purification and enzymatic characterization and protein glycosylation. Has experience in the area of ​​Education, acting as a teacher in higher education (undergraduate and postgraduate), high school and elementary school. Experience in technical management of research projects, reviewing and optimizing experimental techniques for the development of projects in the area of ​​Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, assisting graduate students in the development of their activities, as well as managing the use of project budget resources.
